Location: Coventry / Warwickshire

Salary: £27,118 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week - based across Probation Offices with some flexibility for home working.

St Andrew’s Outpatient Service has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to work within a neurodevelopmental service for adults in partnership with some of our neighbouring Trusts.

Within the role, you will be working alongside qualified psychologists assessing adults for ASD and ADHD, utilising the ADOS 2 and other relevant psychometrics for which full training will be provided. You will be expected to support both the administration and the writing of the clinical report working with a team of clinicians. Therefore, previous ASD/ADHD experience is desirable, however training and supervision will be provided as part of the role.

Due to the autonomy of the role, it is desirable that applicants have some experience working as an Assistant Psychologist.

Applicants should have a relevant master's degree in psychology / minimum of an upper second-class honour's degree or relevant work experience and be eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.

The role will be located across Coventry and Warwickshire but is primarily delivered out of Probation Offices across Coventry and Warwickshire. offering face to face interventions, though some remote sessions will be offered virtually to meet the needs and preference of clients. Travel outside of Coventry / Warwickshire is reimbursed separately and is typically required for training.  A Driving License will be required.

You will facilitate effective communication within the NPS and other agencies that may include primary care services, specialist mental health services, social care and third sector services to ensure continuity of care across all services.
